Job Description: As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a critical role in the strategic direction and financial management of the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Evaluate and recommend financial strategies to optimize profitability and operational efficiency. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance. Develop key financial metrics and KPIs to track business performance and drive continuous improvement. Manage cash flow effectively to support ongoing operations and capital expenditures. Implement strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risk. Monitor banking relationships and negotiate financing agreements as needed. Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate exposure. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements. Oversee internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. Provide guidance and support to department heads on financial matters, promoting financial literacy across the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and achieve company objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, including project costing, WIP, and revenue recognition. Demonstrated experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Expertise in cash flow management, working capital optimization, and risk management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
