Our client is seeking a strong financial and operations leader to partner with the CEO as this commercial real estate company continues its progressive growth. With five direct reports, you will have overall responsibility for all financials, human resources, and all of the company's operations.

Here's what you will do:
Provide strategic financial and operational leadership
Direct and oversee the HR function
Partner with operational leaders to drive efficiencies and improve financial performance
Conduct and oversee financial planning and analysis
Evaluate and manage real estate investment
Identify and mitigate financial risks
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Manage relationships with lenders, investors, and financial institutions
Provide team leadership in the development of all team members
Communicate financial performance and strategy to all stakeholders
Our client is looking for someone with:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting of Finance
7+ years in progressively financial leadership roles
Background in any of the following: real estate development, property management, construction, or any of the skilled trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical. Other service industries will also be considered.
Very open to a Controller who wants to move up in his/her career
Strong problem skills
Strong sense of urgency
Results driven
Excellent communication skills
Bonus points if you have:
CPA
MBA
Operational leadership experience
