About the Role The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (EVP/CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and operational oversight in alignment with the system's vision, mission, and values. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing a wide range of financial and operational areas, including supply chain, construction and facilities design, corporate financial services, revenue cycle, and managed care. The EVP/CFO will be expected to demonstrate business acumen, a proven record of financial planning, and responsible fiscal management, as well as the ability to design and prioritize financial strategies for a complex, academic health system. Key responsibilities for the EVP/CFO include establishing short-term and long-term financial objectives in partnership with the President/CEO and the Board of Directors, fostering a culture of behavior that supports personalized care and service, and leading the organization to meet reshaped consumer expectations. This role requires a Master's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, and at least ten years of finance and accounting experience in a complex system environment. The role also involves connecting all aspects of financial administration, including board relations, strategic planning, and vendor/payer contract negotiations, and engaging organizational teams to execute financial objectives. The ideal candidate will have executive-level presentation skills, the ability to interact with high-level clients, and extensive knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements. A CPA and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives are preferred. The EVP/CFO will be a change agent, driving innovation and maintaining a best place to work environment, and will be responsible for the growth and development of the financial and operational leadership team.
