About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the strategic management of its IT systems and applications. The CIO will serve as the Executive Committee member and principal advisor on all IT and information security matters. Responsibilities include overseeing the secure management of all IT services, providing executive leadership for the design, development, and implementation of IT systems, and ensuring efficient communication and information sharing. The role also involves collaborating with senior managers to allocate resources effectively, supporting the coordination of IT services with executive directors and vendor partners, and managing IT procurement and federal contracting processes.Candidates for the CIO position must have a strong background in IT leadership, including experience with enterprise cloud environments, telecommunications, and managing a diverse technical staff. The role requires expertise in leading large application modernization initiatives, agile-based software development, and establishing user research and human-centered design programs. Additionally, the CIO should have experience in managing technical and administrative matters in a federal agency, including workforce development, performance management, and the development of IT policy and procedures. Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and contract management is also essential. The successful candidate will be a U.S. citizen with a background in IT management at a senior executive level and must meet the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs) outlined in the job description.
