Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

abra professional services is seeking for a CISO (Chief Information Security Officer).

We are looking for an experienced and strategic CISO to lead and implement cybersecurity and information security initiatives for a leading financial organization.

This role requires strong expertise in cyber governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, incident response, and executive-level communication.

A full-time hybrid position, based in Central Israel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the organization’s cybersecurity and information security strategy
2. Manage governance, compliance, and regulatory security requirements
3. Conduct risk assessments, penetration testing, and third-party risk management
4. Lead incident response processes and cyber event management
5. Implement and oversee DLP, IAM, and Zero Trust solutions
6. Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness (BCP/DRP)
7. Work closely with senior management and board-level stakeholders
8. Promote security awareness programs and phishing simulations

• 5–7 years of experience in Information Security roles
• At least 3 years in a managerial/leadership role within a financial organization – mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Information Systems – mandatory
• CISSP / CISM / CISA certification – mandatory
• Experience with AWS/Azure security environments
• Strong knowledge of SOC / SIEM / EDR technologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
