About the Role
The Company is seeking a Director and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join its Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidential Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategy, leadership, and oversight for cyber and information security initiatives, with a focus on advancing the company's mission. This role involves leading a global, cross-functional team to deliver industry-leading security solutions, fostering a culture of innovation and agility, and ensuring that security measures are aligned with the company's needs and priorities. The CISO will also be expected to collaborate with business and corporate partners, maintain a strong understanding of business and technology trends, and be an ambassador for security both within the company and in external forums.Applicants for this role at the company should possess a Master's degree in a relevant discipline and have at least 15 years' of experience in an IT executive leadership position in cyber and information security, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A strong background in information security, IT operations, and IT risk management, particularly in a large, complex, global IT environment, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in security and risk management, experience with industry standards and frameworks, and a deep understanding of security architectures and tools. Proficiency in managing security risks, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to influence and partner with business stakeholders are also key requirements. A passion for the company's mission and the ability to lead diverse, multi-functional teams globally are important attributes for the role.
