About The Role

As the Chief Networking Officer (CNO) at PsychPlus you will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing strategic relationships with payers, including insurance companies, government agencies, and other stakeholders. This role focuses on expanding the organization’s network, negotiating contracts, and ensuring optimal reimbursement rates to support the financial health and operational success of the organization.

Requirements

Develop and execute a strategic plan for networking with payers to expand the organization’s reach and services.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, government payers, and other relevant stakeholders.
Lead negotiations with payers to secure favorable contracts and reimbursement rates.
Ensure contract terms are aligned with the organization’s financial goals and compliance requirements.
Review and renegotiate existing contracts to optimize financial outcomes.
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the organization’s network of payers.
Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to promote the organization’s services to potential payers.
Ensure all contracts and payer relationships comply with federal and state regulations, including those specific to behavioral health services.
Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and adjust strategies accordingly.
Monitor and analyze the performance of payer contracts, identifying areas for improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance reimbursement processes and financial outcomes.
Work closely with the finance, billing, and clinical teams to align payer strategies with organizational goals
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of payer contract terms and expectations.
Prepare and present regular reports on payer contract performance, reimbursement trends, and network expansion progress to senior management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare payer contracting, network management, or related roles.
Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and payer relationship management, preferably in the behavioral health sector.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
In-depth understanding of healthcare payer systems, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent strategic planning and analytical abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Additional Information

The expected base pay for this role will be between $150,000 – $250,000 at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Psychplus Health-sponsored benefits.
