Chief of Staff

It's 2027 and founders Jenn and Roman are -- for the first time since Linjer's founding in 2014 -- on an extended holiday in Bali without their laptops. We are looking for a Chief of Staff who can grow into being in the next generation of leaders in Linjer. We are looking for smart and emotionally intelligent go-getters who have entrepreneurial/operational experience.

Our Ideal Profile

• Ideal candidates come from rigorous fields like management consulting and investment banking AND also have experience in start-ups or starting your own business

• Very strong analytical skills (we prefer people who have studied engineering, economics, finance or a related field and with outstanding academic credentials)
• Strong emotional intelligence
• Experience managing teams of smart people

What you will work on:
As Chief of Staff, you'll be the right hand to the CEO (Jenn). You'll own projects/areas at a high level where Jenn needs help. Projects will change as the organization evolves.
Examples:

• Set up new accounting/inventory management system with our accountant
• Build our made-to-order product category (including a new web experience)
• Build an internal process for creating ads
• Oversee our CX team and ensure staffing is efficient. Roll out new AI tools to automate responses to tickets
• Improve our process for handling returns
• Make decisions about which markets to ship to and what our shipping rates would be
• Build an analytics tool that properly calculates per-order margin
• Oversee product ordering to ensure we minimize cash tied up
