Job Summary

The Sr. Director, Chief of Staff is part of the office of the Chief Commercial Officer. The group spearheads and tackles key challenges facing our customers, partners, and go-to-market teams by identifying and addressing opportunities and threats to NetApp’s business with the primary outcome ensuring the effective long-term growth of revenue and profits. Much of the day-to-day work involves structuring problems, analyzing data, making recommendations, and driving implementation. Operationally, the Sr. Director works cross-functionally with peer and partner organizations and relevant operating groups such as NetApp’s sales, product, channel, marketing, engineering, finance, customer success and HR teams.
Job Requirements

Bridge the gap/align efforts between strategic planning, product development, GTM mobilization, and field execution.
CCO Unit Operational Excellence
Manage the operating budget for the CCO unit.
Design, Plan, and Execute the global CCO cadence to include in person meetings, virtual meetings, and quarterly all hands at all levels (directs, leadership, full unit).
Design and deploy a rigorous talent development program to include quarterly talent reviews, development, promotion criteria, drafts, stretch assignments, and performance accountability.
CCO Executive Engagement
Designate, manage, and prepare the CCO’s time allocation and engagement calendar to drive strategic priorities and execution (management of all meetings - prep, attendance, and execution).
Drive internal and external awareness of the CCO unit through SVP and company leadership engagement.
Design and Orchestrate Alignment
Run the integrated execution process translating and connecting the Annual Operating Plan objectives to the company and field teams for execution.
When necessary, take ownership of company level initiatives as the primary accountable leader for the successful outcome of the initiative (end to end).
Run a world class in-person and asynchronous LT cadence - designed to make decisions and drive accountability to the Annual operating plan.
Experience

BA/BS degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
MBA or Master's degree in related field preferred.
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent project management experience, ability to define projects and execute within timelines and with multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to deliver projects on time and to budget.
10 years of experience in blue-chip executive management consulting, equivalent industry position or similar environment.
Revenue responsibility – proven experience and responsibility of delivering revenue in excess $1B or more annually.
Operations – proven experience in deployment of large, complex, mission critical initiatives with proven results.
Deep financial acumen, fp&a experience.
Proven usage of execution frameworks like agile, lean, six sigma, and others.
Communications and change management experience.
Engagement with senior executives, boards, and global operating boards.
Strong executive presence, communications skill, and ability to influence without authority.

USA and Canada Residents Only:
The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $216,700 - $368,400. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law.In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
