Job Description - Chief Program Officer





Description

Supreme Living is looking for their next Chief Program Officer. The Chief Program Officer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities and functions of Supreme Living’s programs and services.  

OVERALL MANAGEMENT:

· In the absence of the CEO, serves as the designated authority and assumes all the duties as outlined in the CEO job description during the designated timeframe. 

· Develops, reviews and monitors day-to-day organizational functions and makes recommendations to the company leadership as deemed necessary and appropriate. 

· In cooperation with the CEO and Program Administrators, ensures program policies and procedures are aligned with state and federal requirements. 


Requirements

HUMAN RESOURCES OVERSIGHT:

· Provides direct supervision for the Program Administrators, Director of SUD Services and Community Services Manager.  

· Conducts performance evaluations, performance improvement plan development, staff appreciation, execution of disciplinary actions, and general support and guidance for all assigned management employees. 

· Ensures that the company forms, policies and practices are aligned with state and federal employment laws and best practices.

COMPLIANCE & QUALITY ASSURANCE:

· In cooperation with the Program Administrators formulate quality standards and procedures to ensure client needs are met and programs are delivered with the utmost integrity.

· Provide support to the facility Administrators and Quality Assurance Committees.

· Conduct internal quality audits, identify potential sources of errors, and make recommendations to eliminate these errors. 

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:

· In cooperation with the Program Administrators and Managers prepares, monitors, and updates program budgets annually.

  · In cooperation with the CEO negotiates contract services as required.

OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Participates in the company On-Call Administrator rotation which may require management to fill in for line staff in the RTF, ESF or Community Services office in the event shifts cannot be filled in any other manner.

· Other duties as assigned are to ensure the smooth operation of company programs and services. 

TRANSPORTATION:

· Uses personal vehicle to travel to agency sites and non-agency locations.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:

· A Master’s Degree in Human Services, Public Administration, Counseling, Social Work, or comparable degree.

· A Bachelor’s Degree and five years of progressive management and supervisory experience may be substituted. 

· Valid Washington State Driver’s License required or the equivalent if residence in Washington is new.

· Experience using word processing and spreadsheet software. Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

· Demonstrates cultural sensitivity in dealing with clients and their families.

Pay Range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000
