About the Role
The Company is in need of a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the modernization of data tracking and business enhancement strategies. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with the leadership team to ensure that new program implementations and data analysis align with the company's goals, particularly in the retail and ecommerce divisions. The CTO will be responsible for evaluating and upgrading outdated IT platforms, making decisions on software solutions, and driving innovation to enhance customer experiences. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage a team of 20 or more are essential, along with a background in software engineering, executive experience, and a preference for a Master's degree in computer science. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a mandatory requirement.The ideal candidate for the CTO position at the company must possess a deep understanding of the latest technology trends and have a proven track record of managing and developing large teams. They should have a customer-facing business background, excellent decision-making skills, and the ability to work within budgetary constraints. Technical proficiencies in HTML5, ES6/7, TypeScript, React, Vue, and React Native are necessary for this role. The CTO will be expected to lead ongoing team development and succession planning, and to provide regular reports on the cost-effectiveness of IT solutions.
