There are many nonprofits where I've done good work. I joined Per Scholas because I was looking for an organization where I could do GREAT work. I'm collaborating with the highest caliber team I've ever worked with, and that requires a lot - I need to bring my A game every day to keep up with my colleagues. How long should I wait before hearing back from someone after applying for a role?
This can vary depending on the volume of applications received. Two weeks is a good timeframe to wait before reaching out to Per Scholas at

Yes, but we recommend a bit of caution.
If the roles are very different, requiring various skillsets and different tiers (i.e. Associate, Manager, SVP) it could send the message that you are unclear of your career direction
What other requirements does Per Scholas have to qualify for employment?
Every external candidate must satisfactorily complete a background check and drug test (within compliance to state and local laws with regard to drug legalization). We also require the COVID-Vaccine for both onsite and remote roles, with accommodations considered for documented medical and religious reasons
Do you provide employment sponsorship?
No, we do not provide employment sponsorship.
For remote roles, do you consider candidates outside of the United States?
No, we only consider candidates that reside within the United States.
Do you offer part-time or evening roles?
