Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing Inc., a minority and women-owned business with over ten years of experience in healthcare staffing, is seeking a Board-Certified Chief Therapeutic Medical Physicist to provide on-site radiation oncology support at the VA Maryland Health Care System. The Chief Therapeutic Medical Physicist will oversee all physics and dosimetry operations, ensure compliance with ACR/ASTRO/AAPM standards, and support a culture of safety and quality for Veterans receiving radiation therapy.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and supervise all radiation oncology physics and dosimetry operations.
Provide quarterly Quality Assurance reports to the VA Radiation Safety and Quality Assurance Committees.
Ensure adherence to national radiation safety standards and manage all QA data and documentation.
Conduct shielding surveys and maintain radiation safety compliance per NHPP requirements.
Participate in peer review conferences and multidisciplinary quality initiatives.
Supervise the development and maintenance of the Quality Management Program (QMP).
Education: Ph.D. in Medical Physics or a related discipline.
Licensure: Board Certification in Medical Physics or Therapeutic Medical Physics (ABR) is required.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of post-board certification experience.
At least 3 years of continuous work in the last five years in the field.
Proven experience leading QA programs and performing acceptance testing and commissioning of linear accelerators.
Technical Skills: Experience with Varian Edge Linear Accelerators, Eclipse TPS, ARIA R&V, Siemens SOMATOM go.Open Pro CT Simulator and Sun Nuclear/SunCHECK platform.
Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
