Assumes the responsibility of being a Team Leader role as well as delivering the prescribed daily treatment, billing, scheduling, and teaching of Radiation Oncology patients. Participate in quality assurance measures, documenting and monitoring patients as they are treated. Assume duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor's degree in radiation therapy from an accredited program.

Work Experience
2-3 years of experience in a patient care setting in Radiation Therapy is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications
Certification (e.g., from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or

A board-eligible candidate.

Essential Functions

Be the point person for Administration in the Manager's absence
Be able to appoint someone to take charge of the RTT if both the Manager and the Chief Therapist are unavailable for any length of time.
Have the authority and backing to make decisions that affect the daily operations of the treatment area and its personnel.
