Cornerstone Learning Center – Oakland is looking for a passionate, self-motivated, and energetic Assistant Director to join our leadership team! If you're a dedicated early childhood education professional with experience as a Lead Teacher and a heart for helping children thrive, we’d love to meet you.

 Position Details

• Title: Assistant Director
• Location: Oakland, TN
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (varying shifts based on center needs)
• Compensation: $17 – $19 per hour (based on education and experience)

✅ Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Previous experience working in a licensed childcare facility as a Lead Teacher
• Managerial or supervisory experience in a childcare setting strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of state licensing regulations and early childhood best practices

 Key Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in daily operations and center management
• Assist in developing and implementing programs that support child growth and staff development
• Conduct enrollment activities, including family tours and marketing efforts
• Ensure state and company licensing compliance through regular checks
• Guide teaching staff in curriculum development and classroom organization
• Foster strong, professional relationships with families and staff
• Physically able to engage with children, including lifting (up to 40 lbs), walking, sitting, running, and using stairs
