Job Description - Childcare Director

About the Role:

Join Summit Current Voltworks as our Childcare Director, where you will lead a passionate team dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of children. This exciting opportunity allows you to create a positive and safe environment while fostering educational and recreational activities.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the childcare facility, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities.

Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication.

Monitor and assess children's development and implement individualized plans as needed.

Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and staff.

Manage budgets and resources effectively to maintain high-quality services.

Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement among staff.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in childcare management or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

CPR and First Aid certification required.

Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for children and families.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Passion for working with children and fostering their growth.
