About the Role:

Join The Learning Experience #204 in Waldorf, MD, where we are dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning. We are seeking passionate individuals for childcare positions that provide a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children to thrive.

Responsibilities:

Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.

Supervise and engage with children during playtime and learning activities.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.

Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development.

Support children’s emotional and social development through positive reinforcement.

Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall learning experience.

Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation and nap times.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Previous experience in childcare or a related field is a plus.

CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.

Background check and clearances required.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff.

At TLE®, we’ve created a full cast of characters that become our little learners’ educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
