Job Description - Childcare Receptionist

KAW NATION POSITION DESCRIPTION

TITLE: CHILDCARE RECEPTIONIST
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: CHILD CARE OFFICE MANAGER
CONTROLLING SUPERVISOR: KNES DIRECTOR
STATUS: REGULAR, FULL -TIME
LOCATION: NEWKIRK, OK

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a high school diploma/GED and/or Vocational secretaries training or trade school. Must have proficiency in word processing. Requires demonstrated language and spelling skills and knowledge of efficient office procedures. Experience working with children is a plus. Experience in a multi-phone line system with good communication skills and postage machines is preferred. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist Office Manager and Teacher Coordinator with tasks when requested.
Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
Assist in classrooms when needed, fill in where requested, act as a floater teacher.
Process all incoming/outgoing mail including mail records.
Record Maintenance request log.
Complete any other duties as assigned by the immediate/controlling supervisor.
