Childcare Teachers Needed

Job Summary:
Bambini Montessori Academy, located in Gambrills, Maryland, is seeking devoted and enthusiastic Childcare Teachers to join our team. As an individual contributor in this full time, salary education job, you will have the opportunity to shape and inspire the minds of young children in a Montessori environment. Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of $15 to $22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, our employees also enjoy benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for young children
- Plan, implement, and supervise daily activities and lesson plans in accordance with the Montessori philosophy
- Build relationships with children and families to promote an inclusive and supportive community
- Observe and assess children's development and provide regular progress reports to parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and positive learning experience for children
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom and be responsible for the care and upkeep of educational materials
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Previous experience working in a Montessori environment is a plus
- Must meet state licensing requirements and pass background checks
- Strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Must be physically able to lift and carry children, and perform other physical tasks as needed
