Children's Coordinator/Campus support|13 hrs/week|$20.66/hr

Summary of Duties

The Children’s Coordinator leads and supports the campus by identifying, training, and empowering leaders, developing a discipleship culture, building systems, and overseeing the operations of Sunday Gathering. This role promotes smooth operations for strong community relationships.  

Essential Functions

• Oversee the development of CTK Blaine’s children’s ministry
• Identify, train, and empower volunteers
• Advocate for children in our church and our community
• Prepare volunteers for Sunday morning teaching by editing, organizing, and preparing curriculum and classrooms each week
• Consistent check-ins with volunteer team members, offering prayer and support
• Show financial responsibility in operating the Children’s Ministry budget
• Manage the volunteer schedule
• Attend weekly staff meetings as needed with the Campus Pastor
• Help identify, equip, and empower new leaders and connect new people into appropriate groups 

• Leadership development, pastoral care, and organizational leadership 
• Team/systems building 
• Robust commitment to spiritual disciplines, spiritual growth, and spiritual health
• Commitment to the discipleship of others
• Ability to plan agendas and facilitate meetings that involve group problem-solving 
• Concise communicator with vision for the what and why
