Chili Operator

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient CHILI Publish Operator to join our digital production team.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining dynamic variable templates within the CHILI publish platform to support automated document generation and web-to-print solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

   •    Design and develop smart templates using CHILI publish for various digital print media.

   •    Collaborate with designers, developers, Account Managers Data Programmers and marketing teams to implement template automation and brand consistency for a multitude of customers

   •    Troubleshoot issues related to template logic, data feeds, and rendering output.

   •    Perform QA testing on templates to ensure functionality and accuracy.

   •    Maintain consistent structure for templates and workflows.

Requirements:

   •    Proven experience with CHILI publish (minimum 1–2 years preferred).

   •    Strong understanding of InDesign and layout principles.

   •    Knowledge of JavaScript and XML as used within CHILI.

   •    Familiarity with web-to-print or automated publishing environments.

   •    Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

   •    Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

   •    Experience with APIs and integration workflows.

   •    Knowledge of HTML/CSS.

   •    Background in print production.

   •    General knowledge of direct mail requirements as it pertains to template construction
