The Role:
You serve as the strategic leader responsible for the vision, architecture, and executive execution of our global information technology and digital strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO/President, the CIO will align enterprise technology initiatives with core business goals, drive digital transformation, safeguard enterprise data, and foster an agile, innovation-first culture.
Core Responsibilities
1. Executive Leadership & Strategic Alignment
- Partner with the C-suite and Board of Directors to define and execute a scalable digital strategy that drives operational excellence and enterprise growth.
- Oversee the IT executive budget, resource allocations, capital investments, and strategic vendor partnerships to maximize ROI and operational efficiency.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, modernizing legacy infrastructure, integrating emerging technologies, and enhancing customer and employee digital experiences.
2. Infrastructure, Systems & Operations
- Modernize and manage enterprise architecture, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, cloud infrastructure, and core IT operations.
- Ensure robust systems resilience, high availability, disaster recovery, and scalable IT infrastructure across global operations.
- Assess service level agreements (SLAs) for enterprise systems and vendor management are in best interest of organizational needs and future growth, leading search for more effective partnerships and make change recommendations as needed.
3. Cybersecurity, Data Governance & Compliance
- Establish, maintain, and enforce enterprise-wide cybersecurity, data privacy, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant regulatory standards and mitigate organizational IT risk.
- Oversee data architecture, enabling advanced business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making across all business units.
4. Talent Management & Team Culture
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, diverse technology team.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, innovation, agility, and customer-centric service delivery.
Preferred Qualifications & Competencies
- Experience: 10+ years of executive-level lending experience. Proven track record of managing a diverse portfolio through various economic cycles.

- Strategic Influence: Ability to present complex lending data to the Board of Directors with clarity, confidence, and transparency.

Preferred Qualifications & Competencies
· Experience: 10+ years in progressive IT leadership roles, with at least 3-5 years in a C-level or VP of Technology position overseeing cross-functional tech organizations.
· Strategic Expertise: Proven track record of executing enterprise-wide digital transformations, cloud migrations, and complex system modernizations.
· Financial Acumen: Deep experience managing multi-million-dollar technology budgets, contract negotiations, and strategic vendor management.
· Technical Depth: Broad understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP), enterprise applications, modern data platforms, AI/ML integration, and robust cybersecurity paradigms.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's/MBA) preferred.
· Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical changes in a way that feels supportive and clear to staff. Able to lead change in a positive way, relating changes to organizational goals and team member roles.
