Job Description - Cisco Call Center Engineer (UCCE) | Healthcare Infrastructure Support

Cisco Enterprise Contact Center Engineer (UCCE)



  • Location: Hybrid – 70% Remote / 30% Onsite (Hospital Environment)

  • Compensation: $40/hr - $60/hr


  • Duration: 6-month engagement with strong likelihood of extension

Position Summary:
Morris Technology Solutions (MTS) is actively seeking an experienced Cisco Contact Center Engineer to support an ongoing implementation and maintenance engagement within a healthcare setting. This role focuses on architectural and hands-on work in enterprise-scale Cisco UCCE environments.



The ideal candidate will bring a consultative mindset, a strong understanding of hospital IT requirements, and proven experience designing and supporting Cisco call center infrastructure.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of Cisco UCCE and associated call center technologies

  • Partner with internal hospital IT teams to align design with clinical workflows and operational goals

  • Conduct regular systems assessments and performance tuning

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice and contact center issues

  • Contribute to high-level architecture documentation and stakeholder communication



Requirements:



  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting and architecting Cisco call center solutions, specifically UCCE

  • Proven experience in healthcare or hospital-based IT environments highly preferred

  • Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP Collaboration, Cisco UCCE Specialist, or equivalent)

  • Ability to work independently in hybrid environments with hospital-grade compliance expectations

  • Familiarity with ancillary Cisco collaboration tools and reporting integrations is a plus
