Job Description - Civil Construction Superintendent
An established and growing heavy civil construction company is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to oversee infrastructure and site construction projects throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. This role is responsible for leading field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules and budgets, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Compensation
$100,000.00 – $150,000.00 annually (commensurate with experience).Benefits available include:

Schedule
Day Shift, Monday – Friday.
Occasional overtime and schedule flexibility may be required to meet project demands.
Projects are primarily located within approximately 100 miles of the office, allowing for local travel with minimal overnight work.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction
Proven ability to lead field crews, subcontractors, and daily construction operations
Strong understanding of project scheduling, productivity, cost tracking, and manpower management
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, QA/QC procedures, and construction best practices
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
Microsoft Office proficiency
Valid Driver's License
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast -paced construction environment
Preferred Experience
Heavy civil construction projects
Site development and infrastructure work
Coordinating multiple subcontractors and field crews
Budget management and productivity tracking
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
Material tracking, document control, and project submittals
Weekly safety reporting and field documentation
QA/QC implementation and safety leadership
Identifying and resolving field conflicts, differing site conditions, and schedule impacts
Managing project manpower, equipment, and daily construction activities
