Civil Engineer, Philadelphia, PA

Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 40 hrs/week

Duties: 

• Prepare plans and specifications for water and sewer main rehabilitation for the city of Philadelphia. 
• Create cost estimates and calculations for green storm-water infrastructure projects as well as the design preparation of as built drawings. 
• Design, construct, oversee and maintain construction projects and systems including roads, buildings, airports, and systems for water supply, sewage treatment, and stormwater management. 
• Accurately perform calculations and cross-check the accuracy of calculations prepared by equivalent team members. 
• Keep current with design criteria and technology by being proficient with software including engineering programs, designs, and administrative, required to complete assigned projects. 
• Oversee construction in the field for constructability in accordance with design; and coordinate with other design team members, government agencies, and owner/clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
