Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:  

• Complete
  site engineering tasks
  
• Ensure
  the successful completion of the design of site layout and grading plans,
  utility design, erosion control plans, and stormwater management plans
  
• Prepare
  detailed design/documentation of project solutions that align with client
  needs, project schedules, and budget requirements
  
• Complete
  a variety of civil engineering design tasks including:
  
• Roadway
  and parking layout
  
• Pavement
  design
  
• Site
  grading
  
• Stormwater
  management design and reporting
  
• Site
  utility and building service design.
  
• Perform
  engineering calculations as required for civil design for the following:
  
• Obtain
  earthwork volumes
  
• Stormwater
  design
  
• Utility
  pipe sizing
  
• Pavement
  design
  
• Prepare
  required documentation to obtain site plan approvals and permits
  
• Edit/refine
  site work specification sections to meet project requirements
  
• Provide construction phase support for the following:
  

o   Site
visits

o   Respond
to bidders

o   Review
submittals

o   Addressing
change orders

o   Prepare
punch lists

• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and
  meet deadlines
  

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s
  degree in civil engineering from an EAC-ABET accredited program
  
• 5
  + years of experience in site improvements design for complex and
  high-profile projects
  
• PE
  License preferred
  
• Proficient
  with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WinSLAMM/MIDS, and Microsoft Office Suite
  
• Solid
  understanding of civil engineering principles
  

Salary is
commensurate with experience.
