Job Description - Civil Engineer EIT


Employment Type: Full Time, Direct Hire
Compensation: $50,000–$80,000 DOE
Location: Greenville, SC (Onsite)

Role Summary


This Civil EIT position is a developmental role dedicated to building foundational civil design expertise. In this position, you’ll support the engineering team by contributing to master planning, design development, and research tasks for various projects.


 


Core Responsibilities



  • Develop detailed design drawings specifications and 3D models** using AutoCAD Civil 3D for land development roadway and utility infrastructure projects

  • Produce stormwater management and drainage design calculations and integrate them into project deliverables

  • Review and interpret civil engineering codes standards and regulations to ensure compliance in all design documents and permit submittals

  • Prepare project documentation technical reports and permit submittals for client and regulatory review maintaining organized records throughout project phases 


 


Must-Have Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification

  • Two to six years of full-time civil engineering experience with site development and stormwater management

  • Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D


 


Technical Environment & Preferred Tools



  • Primary: Autodesk Civil 3D (required)

  • Familiarity with: HydroCAD WaterCAD SEDCAD or IDEAL is a plus
