Job Description - Civil Engineering Associate

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 0-3 years of civil engineering experience, who is a self-starter, responsible, honest, and a hard worker who can lead others in the same work ethic to join our team.

Position Preferences:

B.S. Degree in structural or civil Engineering or related field, and 0-3 years post-degree experience

Desire to work in the residential, commercial, and mixed-use industries

Knowledge of basic materials design - wood, concrete, masonry, and steel.

Good technical writing skills in letters, reports, etc.

Good organization and communication skills via verbal conversations, emails, instant messages

Experience with and knowledge of other engineering software – Excel, RISA, AutoCAD, Enercalc, Bluebeam, Revit, Forte and others

Experience with communicating with contractors, architects, and other project team members

Knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling techniques and interprets the results of those models.

Compensation: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
