Accepting applications for an experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join our team in Seattle. Our technicians work on a variety of high-profile and complex facilities all over the United States and overseas, utilizing state-of-the-art design tools and collaborating in team environments. SUCCESSFUL CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Proficiently use Civil3D to design and apply modeling expertise in a variety of areas, including site grading, pipe networks, road alignments, and corridor modeling
Proficiency in creating civil engineering design elements, as well as preparing technical drawings and construction plans
Adept at successfully implementing developed standards to produce high quality documents
Are self-motivated and strive for excellence in all aspects
Have effective organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Consistently think beyond rote training to thoughtfully and creatively design civil solutions
Display a desire for growth and welcome advancement opportunities
Welcome the collaborative and iterative process that comes with designing world-class sites with landscape architects, architects, engineers, and clients
QUALIFICATIONS
Associateâs degree or certificate in Civil Design Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting, or similar field
Experience with the following technical software: AutoCAD and Civil3D (Experience in Revit, Rhino, InfraWorks, VectorWorks, Global Mapper, and ArcGIS and/or familiarity with cloud sharing/data management platforms like ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360- though not required, is a plus)
Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience with Civil3D modeling experience
Ability to communicate technical concepts in an accessible manner
Understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, and construction methods
Experience with the following software: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and BlueBeam
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Must be authorized to work in the United States
COMPENSATION
Wage Scale: $75,000 - $100,000 annually
