Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and prepare legal documents including complaints, answers, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, motions, and legal correspondence.
- Assist with all aspects of case management including file organization, calendaring deadlines, and document management.
- Perform legal research and cite-checking as needed.
- Manage and analyze discovery documents, including e-discovery.
- Coordinate and prepare attorneys for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Communicate with clients, court personnel, witnesses, and experts.
- Assist in trial preparation and attend trials when necessary.
- Summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and other case-related materials.
- Track billable time and maintain accurate records in case management systems.
