Location:
Brea, CA. This is an on-site position for the first six months, with potential for a hybrid schedule of up to two remote days per week afterwards.
Note:
Candidates must have 4+ years of paralegal experience and completion of an approved paralegal program. Strong civil litigation experience, including discovery, court filings, calendaring, case organisation, and trial preparation, is highly valued.

Job Description
- Support attorneys throughout all stages of civil litigation, from initial case assessment through trial and post-trial matters.
- Conduct legal research and help evaluate facts, records, and potential case issues.
- Draft and edit discovery, correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Manage court deadlines, calendars, filings, service requirements, and case-related documentation.
- Maintain organized pleadings, discovery indexes, exhibits, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
- Coordinate information and communication among attorneys, clients, witnesses, experts, and other third parties.
- Take an active role in hearing and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and case materials.
- Assist attorneys with settlement preparation and case resolution.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized electronic and physical case files.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of paralegal experience.
- Completion of an approved paralegal program.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Strong civil litigation, discovery, legal research, writing, calendaring, and court filing skills.
- Working knowledge of California litigation procedures and court requirements.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while remaining composed in a fast-paced litigation environment.
- Proficiency with legal technology, document management, and case management systems.
