Civil/Coastal Engineer

 Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project oversight (setting priorities, developing objectives, project financial management
  


• Serve as a technical resource to project team
  


• Complete design calculations for coastal engineering projects (seawall design, beach nourishment, coastal structures, coastal restoration, drainage and flood control and coastal impact assessments)
  


• Project engineering/management and client management
  


• Assist with business development including presentation development/presentation
  


• Prepare contracts/technical documents
  


• Conduct field work (inspection/observation)
  


• Participate in professional organizations
  


• Provide technical leadership on coastal projects design in Florida
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer, Coastal Engineering or a related field
  


• 5+ years of experience
  


• PE License
  


• Project Management experience
  


• Experience with design software including AutoCAD Civil 3D (GIS and hydrodynamic modeling experience a plus)
  


• Strong coastal engineering technical skills in coastal processes
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
