Class A CDL Delivery Driver

Description

The CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for all deliveries assigned to them and merchandising those stores. Collecting payments and store returns precisely. Provide excellent customer service and represent A&B in a positive manner. Always driving and working safely in accordance with A&B’s standards. Works out of the Muskogee, OK location.

This position is a M-F, start time begins at 5:00am - end of day. Outside of peak season (summer months) rotation switches to T-F with a guaranteed 3 day weekend built into work week.

Base Pay of $55,000 + eligible for commission after 90 days and Driver Incentive after a year!!!!

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all company policies and state and federal regulations.
• Projects a positive image to all, consistent with company expectations.
• Physically counts in truck each morning and compares with load sheet
• Maintains “Best in Class” overall appearance of their market
• Follows company dress code
• Fills display and cooler
• Rotates truck to display, display to shelf
• Turns package labels on shelf and in back stock
• Builds creative displays
• Delivers product orders as written to designated retail accounts
• Performs all rotation, stocking & merchandising delivery functions as directed
• Maintain company assigned equipment and vehicles.
• Understand and comply with all quality assurance guidelines and policies of A&B distributors and its suppliers
• Follows all requirements written in Associate Handbook.
• Proven ability to build rapport with clients.
• Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
• Flexibility with work hours

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Must have a Valid Class A Driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ customer service, retail, sales, or service industry experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read, understand and interpret sales figures, discounts, and margins
• Smart phone to use mobile applications required for the position

Preferred:

• Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of sales applications within ERP software (i.e. Encompass).
• Experience with the Distribution Industry
• 1+ years of years of CDL driving experience
• 1+ years of customer service, retail, sales, or service industry experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to routinely lift 35 – 75 lbs. and occasionally may be called upon to handle items, with assistance, weighing up to 165 lbs, climb, reach and perform various physical maneuvers to perform the essential functions of the job.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current valid Drivers License. This license must comply with our insurance carrier’s guidelines for an acceptable, insured driver.
