Class A CDL Driver

About the role

We are looking to add a Class A CDL Driver to our growing Maintenance Department. As a CDL Driver you will be responsible for transporting materials and equipment safely and efficiently between our operational sites and partners with a 1-Ton truck and a gooseneck trailer. This position will directly support our Maintenance operations at our Corsicana Facility.

Essential Functions

• Safely transport equipment, parts, and materials to and from Riot Platforms’ facilities and designated locations, ensuring the integrity of all loads
• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is safe to operate and comply with safety standards
• Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or manual labor as necessary
• Maintain accurate logs of miles driven, delivery times, and any incidents, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues to the appropriate department for prompt repair, ensuring the truck is in good working condition
• Assist in daily functions in the Shop as needed

Qualifications

• Class A Valid CDL License: including valid medical card
• Must have a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 5 years
• In-depth knowledge of all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification or previous experience operating heavy machinery is a plus

Education and Experience 

• Minimum 1 year experience of CDL driving
