LEM Trucking is hiring a CDL A Truck Driver in San Antonio for a position averaging $1,500 to $1,800 per week with weekly home time and primarily no touch freight.

Pay and Home Time

Drivers average between $1,500 and $1,800 per week while operating consistent freight. Home time is scheduled weekly, with resets alternating between approximately 34 and 48 hours. This setup gives drivers a predictable break at home while still providing the miles needed to maintain strong weekly earnings.

Additional earning opportunities are available through fuel, safety, quarterly, and annual performance bonus programs. Qualified drivers are also eligible for a sign on bonus after completing orientation.

Freight and Daily Operations

This position consists of approximately 99 percent no touch freight. Loads are handled primarily through drop and hook or live load and unload appointments, allowing the driver to concentrate on operating safely and keeping freight moving rather than routinely handling cargo.

Occasionally, a driver may need to make a minor freight adjustment when required for safe transportation. Dispatch works with drivers throughout the week to coordinate loads and maintain consistent freight movement.

Equipment

Class A CDL Drivers operate late model International ProStar tractors from model years 2019 through 2022. Trucks are equipped with APUs and inverters to provide additional comfort while drivers are on the road.

CDL A Driver Requirements
