Class A CDL Driver - Starting at $27.23 to $33.21 hour!!

URM Stores, Inc. has immediate job openings for Class A CDL delivery drivers who have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and bringing a smile to the faces of customers in our community. Your Day-to-Day:

• Keep DOT logs according to regulations.
• Comply at all times with URM’s safety regulations.
• Responsible for accurately unloading the customer’s order case by case (case weights are from a minimum of 1 pound up to 80 pounds). Unload cases of product manually with pallet jack, hand truck, and lift gate onto and off the truck.
• Drivers will unload products inside of trailer consisting of three temperature-controlled compartments. (Frozen: 0 to -5 °C) (Chilled: 35-40 °C) (Ambient: room temperature)
• Configure routes when necessary to help improve service levels to customers.
• Provide efficient, productive operations of company and product.
• Verify order to ensure correct products loaded.
• Ensure goods are loaded into trucks in a safe and logical order.
• Make sure the load is properly secured.
• Work is performed in all weather conditions
• Weekends, and some holidays are required
• Provide quality customer service at all times.

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years or more experience strongly preferred.
• Food Service and or Route Delivery Experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Able to read and follow instructions.
• Good verbal communication.
• Ability to lift, push or move freight that weighs an average of 40-80 pounds and as much as 100 pounds.
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays as necessary.

License or Certification Required:

• Per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) drivers must be 21 years of age or older to driver interstate commerce. This position requires the delivery of goods across state lines into Idaho, Oregon, and or Montana thus requiring individuals to be 21 years of age or older to apply.
• Valid Class A driver’s license.
• Doubles Endorsement preferred, or willing to pursue shortly/immediately after hiring.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.

• Our full scale wage is $33.21 per hour, our starting wage is determined by verifiable experience and certifications as shown in the examples below:
• 0-5 months experience - $27.23 per hour
• 6 months experience - $28.23 per hour
• 12 months experience - $29.56 per hour
• 18 months experience - $31.88 per hour
• 24 months or more experience - $33.21 per hour (full scale)
