Class A CDL Driver/Yard Support (Hybrid Role)

About the Role: EB Metal US is seeking a highly motivated Class A CDL Driver to join our growing team in a hybrid position. This role is ideal for a reliable and adaptable individual who enjoys being behind the wheel but also takes pride in hands-on work in the yard. When not on the road, you'll be supporting our operations by operating a forklift, picking orders from stock, and assisting with general yard duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Duties (approx. 70% of time):

• Safely operate a Class A vehicle to deliver and pick up materials, primarily within a regional/local radius.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Safely operate moffett at jobsites.

Yard Duties (approx. 30% of time):

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, and organize materials.
• Pick and stage orders accurately based on customer and production needs.
• Assist with inventory control and yard organization.
• Support other warehouse or yard-related tasks as needed.

  Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience required.
• Forklift experience required; certification preferred but can be provided.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and teamwork.
