Beacon Recycling is looking for a full-time Truck Driver (Class A CDL) to join our Traverse City team. This is a local driving position - home every night - hauling scrap metal and containers between customer sites and our yard using a cable roll-off, lugger, and even a van trailer for yard transfers. You'll be the dedicated driver for our northern Michigan customer base, helping reduce strain on our downstate team and supporting our growing Traverse City yard. 

You'll be party of a tight-knit 4-person crew at our TC yard and supported by leadership based in Grand Rapids.  If you're a dependable driver who takes pride in your truck, your work, and building great customer relationships—we want to hear from you.

What you'll do:

• Operate cable roll-off, lugger, and van trailer trucks (manual and automatic)
• Transport scrap metal from customer sites to our Traverse City facility
• Build positive customer relationships through professional, reliable service
• Keep your truck clean, safe, and DOT-Compliant
• Communicate with a supportive team both locally and across the region

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT Medical card or eligibility to acquire one
• Cable Roll-Off or Scrap Metal experience is helpful - we'll train the right person.
