Class A Driver

Description

What you will do:

As a Class A driver you will play a vital role in the recycling process by driving trucks or tractor-trailers for collection services to ensure our customers’ expectations are met in transporting or disposing various materials to the appropriate location.

• Operates heavy duty commercial trucks and tractor-trailers
• Performs required pre-trip & post trip inspections and provides required reports
• Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
• Maintains all required certifications required by DOT
• Adheres to all OSHA and company safety programs
• Maintains and protects all property
• Informs on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and/or vehicles
• Maintains various records and/or logs as needed per DOT regulations
• Fuels truck at the end of each workday
• Operates front end loader/ skid steer on as needed basis

Requirements

To qualify for this role you will have:

• Have a valid Minnesota CDL Class A
• Tanker Endorsement or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health card and license
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Previous heavy equipment experience a plus
• Experience with the following a plus: Roll-off, tractor-trailer, walking floor, end dump, van trailer, flat-bed, skid-steer, front end wheel loader
