CLASS A Shuutle Driver

Job Title: Shuttle Driver / Warehouse Associate
Location: Within 50 miles of Savannah, GA

Job Overview:

You’ll be moving trailers around the yard using a yard truck, loading and unloading, and doing some warehouse work. You'll also help with small truck maintenance and keep things clean and organized.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM

• Some Saturdays may be required

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week

• Must be okay doing warehouse work (some days may be warehouse-only)

Pay:

• Hourly Rate: $21.50 per hour

• Overtime: Paid at time and a half
  Weekly minimum $1050
  Average $1200 to $1800 weekly

Home Time:

• You're home every day

Equipment You’ll Use:

• Newer automatic trucks (day cab)

• Flatbeds, double-drop trailers, and containers

What You’ll Be Moving:

• Flatbed trailers engines and flat racks (no need to secure loads)

Truck Info:

• Speed: 65 mph (both pedal and cruise control)

Where You Work:

• All work is onsite – no long-distance driving

• Onsite parking available

Requirements:

• 6 months of recent flatbed driving experience

• Must be good at backing into tight spaces

• Forklift certification is a plus (we can train if needed)

Your Main Tasks:

• Move trailers in and out of loading docks

• Check alignment of trailers at docks

• Inspect and do light maintenance (check fluids, etc.)

• Keep track of trailer locations

• Clean trailers

• Work with dispatchers and warehouse staff

• Follow safety rules

• Report any needed repairs

• Do other warehouse tasks as needed
