Position Summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is actively seeking a dependable and experienced Class A Super Tag Driver to join our Transportation team. This position is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transport of aggregate and bulk materials using Super Tag bottom dump tractor-trailer combinations. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and bring a strong track record of safety, reliability, and professionalism to the role. This position plays a vital role in supporting our logistics operations while promoting our commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Super Tag bottom dump trucks to haul and transport aggregate, dirt, asphalt, and other materials.
• Navigate urban, residential, and construction zones with precision and caution.
• Efficiently back into tight spaces, dumpsites, and job locations, ensuring safe dumping practices.
• Maintain and inspect Super Tag equipment regularly, promptly reporting any issues.
• Load and unload materials following company and industry safety standards.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork (e.g., logs, trip sheets, timecards) in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, site foremen, and team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Follow designated delivery routes and adjust as needed in response to traffic, weather, or site conditions.
• Adhere to all DOT, company, and environmental regulations concerning material handling and disposal.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Critical Skills

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating Super Tag end dump trucks (REQUIRED).
• Previous sand/gravel experience (REQUIRED).
• English language ability (REQUIRED).
• Strong understanding of DOT compliance and transportation regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Dependability and a strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and safety.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors

• Frequent sitting, driving, and operating of Super Tag trucks for extended hours.
• Use of hands and arms for vehicle operation and material handling.
• Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, dust, and construction environments.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds routinely.
• Vision requirements include depth perception, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation

The Class A Super Tag Driver position offers an appealing compensation package, with a competitive salary range of $52,000.00 to $77,220.00 per year (DOE). In addition to the financial components, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan with employer matching, generous paid time off, and life insurance coverage. The final compensation will be contingent upon the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and skills, reflecting our commitment to providing a rewarding and competitive remuneration to attract top talent in the industry.
