Job Description - Class A Tow Truck Driver

Come work at one of the best towing companies in the Ohio Valley as a Heavy-Duty Tow Truck Operator.

Qualities:

An aptitude for providing the utmost customer service experience

Pride in appearance and character

Either experience in professionally operating a wrecker or the eagerness to learn

Be able to pass a drug test and background check

Eagerness to work in adverse weather conditions

A good MVR upon submitting your application

Pride in reliability and working with a team

Willingness to work irregular hours, weekends, holidays and special events

Requirements:

Ability to lift material weighing up to seventy-five (75) pounds

Must have a CDL/Class A

Current DOT Med Card

Minimum of three (3) years combination vehicle driving

Ability to drive 18 speed transmission

Basic mechanical knowledge

The Towing business is not a 9 to 5 job every day, there will be days you may have to work over.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

Day shift 8a to 5pm

Rotate Holidays

On call 2 nights a week

every other week end off

Weekend availability if wanting extra hours

Experience:

Tow truck: 1 year

Commercial driving: 3 years

License/Certification:

Wrecker Permit (Preferred)

CDL Class A (Required)

Work Location: In person

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

We do a lot of rescue exercises with local authorities to practice real life scenarios. We're the largest towing company in the Saint Clairsville, OH area. We serve all of Belmont County. We have been named Belmont County's preferred provider for the past 10 years. Our 12 in-house towing trucks can handle any job, including light, medium, and heavy-duty towing. We also offer Bridgestone and Goodyear national accounts for tires. We have been recognized by the governor of Ohio and have received an American Towman award for rescue operation. One of our trucks has also won the first place in the 2017 Shining Star competitions in the heavy-duty division. We offer 24/7 service.
