Job Description - Class A Welder

Job Title: Class A Welders
Pay: $28 - $30/hr (Based on Experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location: Catoosa, Oklahoma

Position Overview

We are seeking skilled Class A Welders to join our team in Catoosa. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of welding functions according to job specifications. You will work closely with supervision and QA/QC, maintaining precise accuracy and high standards throughout your tasks. The ideal candidate is proficient in arc gouging, capable of welding qualified processes independently, and knowledgeable in blueprint interpretation and technical documentation.

Test: Plate test 2G and 3G MIG/FLUX and 6G TIG/Pipe

Key Responsibilities

· Perform welding functions as specified by job requirements.

· Select appropriate equipment and plan layout and assembly of welding tasks.

· Collaborate with supervisors and QA/QC to ensure high-quality results.

· Maintain precise limits and standards of accuracy in all welding tasks.

· Demonstrate proficiency in arc gouging and welding qualified processes without supervision.

· Interpret and utilize various blueprint drawings accurately.

· Use measuring devices and interpret weld symbols (e.g., tape measure, protractor).

· Read, analyze, and interpret technical information, including codes (ASME, API-650-620).

Qualifications

· Proven experience as a Class A Welder.

· Proficiency in MIG/FLUX welding (2G and 3G) and TIG/Pipe welding (6G).

· Strong understanding of welding standards and codes (ASME, API-650-620).

· Ability to accurately read blueprints and technical documents.

· Skilled in using measurement tools and interpreting weld symbols.

· Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and quality.

· Reliable and committed to workplace safety.
