Class Advisor (SY25-26, High School)

What You’ll Do

The Class Advisor is responsible for providing guidance and support to their designated grade level. This role includes fostering position relationships with students, serving as a liaison between the class and school administration, and supporting the academic, social, and extracurricular development of students. The Class Advisor also assists in the coordination of class events, activities, and fundraising efforts, while promoting school spirit and ensuring alignment with the school's mission and values. 

We are looking for class advisors for all four high school classes: Class of 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029.

What You’ll Need

• Previous experience related to this extracurricular activity (preferred).
• Knowledge and background in this extracurricular activity.

• An unwavering belief that all students can achieve amazing things.
• A dedication to fighting racism in our educational institutions and in daily life and knowledge of the history of race and racism, as well as the systems of oppression our students face.
• Current authorization to work in the United States – a candidate must have such authorization by his or her first day of employment

COMPENSATION: $500

Veritas Prep is a public, tuition-free school in Springfield that prepares students in grades 5 through 12 to compete, achieve, and succeed in college and beyond. Students can earn up to an associate degree for free, and the general studies associate degree from STCC means students enter as JUNIORS at any Massachusetts public college or university after high school graduation.
