Class B CDL Environmental Technician

Essential Functions:

• Operate truck in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies


• Comply with state and federal mandates by conducting pre-trip/post trip inspections, managing drivers logs and required paperwork for truck and load.


• Safely operate a 26’ box truck through and around customers’ facilities.


• Provide waste removal services to customers on assigned route(s)


• Load and unload waste and materials from customers.


• Properly track and document waste and materials.


• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch


• Maintain cleanliness in all vehicles.


• Professional interaction with customers

Require Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields


• Commercial driver's license (Class B with Haz. Endorsement)


• Ability to handle physical workload

• Strong work ethic

• General knowledge of mechanics of trucks


• Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers


• Waste industry experience, a plus but not required

Qualifications:

• Legally eligible to work in the United States


• Must be at least 21 years of age


• Must have a valid DOT medical card


• Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings
