JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Qualifying Individuals Class B Contractor's license holders (QI) are a big part of the construction industry.
- There are thousands of legitimate national companies who need qualifiers permanently in various trades and states.
- Alstom is looking for a person with a Class B Contractor's license that can perform the minimally necessary tasks to be compliant with California‘s State regulations for construction contractors as required for the performance of work that Alstom would execute
- The QI's work may include reviewing the pictures, videos, weekly job reports, etc.
- The maintenance of facilities work would occur mostly in LA county some in the adjacent four surrounding counties like San Bernardino county.
- 90%+ of any work would be handled virtually.
- Only on rare occasions would the QI person need to travel to a site as Alstom would have very competent maintenance of facilities management and crew in place in the field.
- If travel is required, Alstom would reimburse travel costs according to Alstom's travel policy.
- The position is part-time and would likely require not more than 10 hours per month for oversight of various plans, documents and issues that require involvement of a QI to comply with State regulations.
- It is understood by Alstom that the QI may have other (non-Alstom) job commitments, i.e., retired, semi-retired, working other jobs, or running or working at other businesses.

Shifts: Hybrid 10%, Remote 90%
Duration: 3-6 months
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Must have a California Class B Contractor's license.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience with Maintenance of Facilities is ideal, but not a requirement.
