General Requirements for a TEAM Member:
- Ability to work with all age groups as a classroom helper when one of the co-teachers is off of work.
- Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Documentation for the CACFP program
- Positively and professionally representing Tomorrow’s Promise Montessori
- Basic proofreading and spelling skills
- Flexibility and prioritization of tasks
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Effective time management
- Punctuality and readiness to work at scheduled times
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to take on other duties as they arise
Office Runner Description & Responsibilities:
Tomorrow’s Promise Montessori Schools is seeking a dedicated Substitute and Office Runner to support teachers and staff by handling a variety of tasks to help balance office and classroom duties. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and able to adapt to an ever-growing operation. Responsibilities include:
- Substituting in a classroom for bathroom breaks, lunch breaks or occasionally all day if one of the two teachers is absent for the day.
- Running errands between our three locations
- Making copies and ensuring classrooms, bathrooms, and offices are well-stocked with supplies
- Transporting materials and supplies using a dolly or other equipment (up to 35 lbs.)
- Supervising children during teachers’ bathroom breaks
- Occasionally assisting in the kitchen by performing small tasks and delivering food to children
- Answering phones and assisting with customer service as needed
- Communicating efficiently with leadership, teachers, and staff at different locations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 35 lbs., with the ability to use a dolly or other equipment as necessary
- Proficient in using a copy machine and basic office equipment
- Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 products (Word, Excel)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license for travel between locations
- Ability to pass a state-required background check
- Customer service experience and strong communication skills are essential
- Ability to keep confidential information confidential
Additional Information:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
