Classroom Supervisor

The Westfield Area YMCA is looking for caring, supportive and responsible individuals to join our team as Classroom Supervisors for our preschool program (ages 3-5) to work at our Garwood location starting in late August. 

The Classroom Supervisor is responsible for assisting  with supervision of the classroom, the preparation, and implementation of activities and classes. 

Hours: Monday - Friday 2:30PM - 5:45PM 

Pay Range:  $17.00-$23.00, commensurate with education and experience

• Bachelor's degree + 1 yr. experience; OR CDA/AA + 2 years experience; OR HS diploma/GED + 3 years experience
• Must be 18 years or older
• Experience working in a child care setting
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work as a team with other YMCA staff members
