Cleaner

We are recruiting a dedicated Cleaner to join our clients team in Mellieħa. The successful candidate will help maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards across the site, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for visitors and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize visitor areas including walkways, seating areas, restrooms, and dining spaces.

• Maintain both indoor and outdoor areas to high standards.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean surfaces, mirrors, and glass.

• Empty waste bins and ensure proper waste disposal and separation.

• Refill supplies (soap, hand towels, toilet paper, etc.) in restrooms and other facilities.

• Monitor and report maintenance issues such as broken fixtures or damaged surfaces.

• Assist with setup and clean-up for events or special functions.

• Follow daily cleaning schedules and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift light to moderate loads.

• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining excellent standards.

• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
