Cleaner (September Start)

The Sapling School is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team in Fair Lawn, NJ. This role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students and staff. The ideal candidate must be authorized to work in the United States, able to bend and lift up to 40 pounds, and available to work from 9am to 6pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal


• Sanitize classrooms, restrooms, and common areas to maintain health and safety standards


• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary


• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly


• Assist with setup and cleanup for school events as required

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States


• Ability to bend and lift up to 40 pounds


• Availability to work from 9am to 6pm


• Strong attention to detail and work ethic


• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required
